The University Health Service is a primary health care facility established in 1929, with the original mandate of taking care of the minor ailments and health needs of students. It is now a DOH licensed and PhilHealth accredited facility which provides health care services to the entire U.P. Diliman community.
A model health facility that will help ensure an academic community with sound mind and bodies, empowered to make healthy choices, and with ready access to appropriate health services.
To promote health and wellness among members of the U.P. Community, thereby reducing the impact of illness on study and work productivity;
To provide comprehensive primary care services
To foster close collaboration with the U.P. Diliman administration and strengthen linkages with other U.P. Diliman units as well as with the local government of Quezon City; and
To utilize government and other resources effectively and judiciously.
